When Lynda Brown saw the Nigel Living sign of a smiling woman with her dog, she knew right away it was the place for her. “I didn’t even hear about it,” she laughs. “I just saw that picture and thought, That’s
the place for me.”
Her old building was dark and gloomy, and pets weren’t allowed. For Lynda, that was an impossible situation. Her cat, Abby, isn’t just a pet. She’s family. “Abby is my emotional support animal,” Lynda explains. “She makes me happy. When I sit with her on my lap and brush her, she calms me down. She’s my little rock.”
At Nigel Living, both Lynda and Abby have found comfort, sunshine, and freedom. “Abby just loves it here,” Lynda says, smiling. “She rolls around on the nice floors and sits in the sun. We both feel
at home.”
Moving day felt easy thanks to the warm welcome she received. “Jordan even left a note that said, ‘Welcome home, Lynda and Abby.’ That meant so much.”
Now, their bright, private suite gives them peace. “It’s my own little space,” she says. “And my Christmas cactus has started blooming again. My plants are thriving, and so are we.”
Lynda loves that everything she needs is close by – groceries, the bank, and the in-house dining room with “food so good it feels like fine dining.”
For Lynda, home means freedom, and comfort. “Everything’s so clean and fresh.
It gives me more time with Abby.”
Together, they’ve found more than a new apartment. They’ve found home.
